I love the place, the service is just fantastic. They are super friendly and always helpful so you can decide for a delicious meal. The place is nice, is a familiar place. The dishes are big and the prices are fair. We ordered some ceviche de la casa, this was so good. We also ordered some shrimp filled with cheese (this was not my favorite as the shrimp flavor was not dominant at all, so it was mainly cheese, but still good). We also got very good drink recommendations. And I am still pending to try the carajillos with pozol, so definitely will come back soon!
The food in general and the cocktails were very good. Actually, the location is good also but the atmosphere of the restaurant feels much less upscale than the quality of the food so I think that the restaurant could be in a much better setting.. the only downer is that some options on the menu was not available. The service was average with rather uninvolved waiters.
Came out of nowhere, during trip to Palenque but food was just spectacular:) i like to revisit the taste of this ceviche and tostadas in my memories once in a while
Hands down our favorite restaurant in Mexico! Love the food, it’s always delicious and a lovely celebration of Tabasco’s culture.
Wow! What a great experience! The cocktails are fabulous! We started with the mezcalita de tamarindo. The food was delicious and generous! The salsas were unique and exquisite. The complimentary shrimp consomé was also delicious! Then we had the fiesta tacos that were accompanied by a delicious special salsa and another beef consomé. We had the smoked cauliflower that was delicious, maybe a bit too saucy but the flavor was great and way too generous. We will have to come back and order other items in the menu. As dessert we shared another cocktail that was made with espresso and posole, a delicious corn based drink. It led for them to lead us through a wonderful journey of tasting the posole. The service by Anabel and Obed was special and of course the captain, Leydi came and made us feel all that more welcome and explaining the uniqueness of Tabascan cuisine. We only wish we can stay longer and eat here everyday.
Perfect spot to taste ceviche and seafood. Good quality to cost.
If you happen to visit Parque la Venta this restaurant is the best in the area, walking distance both from the park and the hotel zone. Try the pulpo asado, tuna tostada and the tuna carnitas taco, all really good! Also check out the chile machito sauce, spicy but worth it!
